Founded in the fall of 1991, Laurel Moon is Brandeis' oldest, national literary publication. Each issue we publish features original work from undergraduate students.

Jenna Lifshitz is a sophomore studying chemistry at Brandeis University. She calls New Jersey home, where day trips to New York City inspired this photo. She learned from her dad to use perspective as a tool to find beauty in the seemingly mundane (and to photograph it) and hopes others will do the same.
